Raising money for a good cause!

On Friday the 23d of May, children in class 9 and nursery came to school dressed in purple. This was to raise awareness of epilepsy. All money raised was donated to epilepsy charities. Mrs Mclean and several year 6 boys also baked a delicious carrot cake to sell at break time to raise even more money. Well done to everyone involved.

Making sure their hands are nice and clean.

Measuring out the ingredients carefully to make their delicious carrot cake.

Class 9, nursery and all staff at EAPS wore purple on Friday to raise money and awareness for charities that support epilepsy.

Solid, liquid or gas?

In science this week we have been looking at the difference between solids, liquids and gases. We had to look at different products and decide whether they were a solid, liquid or gas by looking closely at their properties. Some were more difficult than others. to identify For example, flour poured like a liquid but each particle was a solid.

Do you agree with these children? Were they correct?
